2025 Pre-National Championships Concert

The City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band and Marist Brass Band invite you to their combined Pre-Championship Concert, prior to their tilt at the National Band Championships in Melbourne at Easter.

The bands will each be performing their full nationals programs in the spectacular venue, St. Pauls Cathedral Bendigo.

Sunday April 6th 2025
St. Pauls Cathedral, Myers St Bendigo
Concert commences at 2.30pm.

Tickets can also be purchased with cash or card at the door.
Adults $20. Children under 12 $10.

Goldfields Youth Brass Band Workshop! – 23rd February 2025

There’s a new workshop in town, and it’s gunna be a ripper!

All brass & percussion young students from the wider Goldfields area are invited to join us for a fantastic day of music making, with some brilliant artists and facilitators! — feeling excited at The Capital Bendigo.

Movie Night at Star Cinema – 20th February 2025

Please join Bendigo Brass band members as we enjoy a special screening of The Complete Unknown—the story of the legendary Bob Dylan! on Thursday, 29th February 2025. The movie starts at 7pm, but we’d encourage everybody to arrive at least 30 minutes before this, so that you can socialise with us and enjoy a quiet beverage or two.

Tickets are $22 each and can be bought on arrival or booked in advance through the Star Cinema website.

Band Trivia Night 2024

Please join the band for a night of fun and frivolity, as we test our collective brains at the 2024 Trivia Night.

The event is on 27th September 2024, from 7pm, at the Eaglehawk Bowling Club, Simpsons Road, Eaglehawk. BYO nibbles. Drinks are available at the venue.

Pre State Championships Concert this Sunday!

City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band and Marist Brass Band present Pre State Championships Concert this Sunday July 21st at St. Pauls Cathedral Bendigo.

Both Bendigo and Marist bands will be presenting their full programs of music at the concert, prior to competing in the VBL Victorian State Band Championships in Melbourne the following Sunday.

The concert commences at 2:30pm. Tickets are available at the door, adults $20 and children under 12 $10.

Bendigo Carols by Candlelight 2023

Please join the City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band for the 2023 Community Carols, hosted by the Rotary Club of Bendigo. The evening commences at 6pm on Sunday 17th December in the beautiful Rosalind Park.  

With fantastic live entertainment and your favourite carols to sing along to, food and drinks available to purchase and of course a visit from the big man himself – Santa!

Gold coin donation for entry.  Candles are issued on entry, ensure to BYO chairs, blankets etc.

See Bendigo Brass at the Axedale Carols

We will be performing as part of the Axedale Carols, from 6pm on 10th September 2023.

As per previous years, the carols are being held in Axedale Park that is on the main road (McIvor Highway) through Axedale. Axedale Primary School and Kinder will also be performing.
