In line with Victorian Legislative requirements the City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band Inc has developed a range of Child Safety documents including a Policy Statement ,Child Safety Code of Conduct, Incident Report Form and suggestions about what to do should a child disclose abuse.
It should be noted that individuals involved with the Band as Musical Directors and those assisting with Bendigo Youth Brass Band are required by legislation to hold a current Working With Children Check.

The City of Greater Bendigo Brass Band Inc. will ensure our office bearers, MD’s and volunteers are provided access to updated training, so they are aware of the need to maintain the safety of children and to be aware of our responsibilities are in the event they witness, suspect or have an incident reported to them.
